Union –
· Restraining Orders – Civil Service – Road should be coming in to do the service, not putting it on sergeants to serve them.
· “Jail” proof ID – Will start looking at alternative to the ID, should have something be able to be deployed
· Bid Status – Numbers are getting finalized, bid may be by paper CORVOT is failing – also Admin Sergeant spot with either be transitioned into a new position (offline sergeant) for large maintenance projects at MCDC
· Mot Refusals – working on a “bell curve” for staff that work mots and occasionally have to refuse.
· DA’s coming in to speak with staff at briefings
· 7th day AIT/trainings – while not approved to be pre set up, if you are involved in an incident that may cause your AIT to occur on a 7th day OT, contact your chain of command informing them. Exemptions can be made on a case by case basis.

o LE vs Corrections
§ 34 vacant corrections deputies 4 conditional out, 25 candidates in backgrounds, 8 doing Personal History (67%) – 173 active candidates
§ 13 vacancies LE – 1 conditional, 1 command interview, 3 in backgrounds, - 114 active candidates
o New recruiter being hired external.
o Attempting to get more funding for more background investigators, using resources to prioritize candidates that will more than likely qualify.
o Pushing to explore better use of resources for recruitment at military bases and other high volume opportunities.
